Originally awarded in 2005, contract number GS-07F-6007R, administered by the U.S. General Services Administration, allows streamlined access to DSG's products through pre-negotiated pricing and sales terms for all U.S. Military branches, U.S. Embassy personnel, National Security Personnel and Federal Law Enforcement agencies. The recent modification, adds hundreds of new items to DSG's existing contract which is in effect through 2010. A few notable additions include:

• Spare parts and Components for the AR15 weapons family
• M9 Bayonets and M11 E.O.D. knives and tools
• Magazines for the M9 Pistol and other handguns in use by the U.S. Gov't.
• Body Armor Tactical Vests, ACH and MICH Helmets, Bomb Blankets, Concealable Armor Vests
• SOPMOD Weapon Components such as the RIS II Rail System (Flat Dark Earth and Black) and ITI Mk46 Vertical Grips

While still a Teflon sealed, hard coat anodization process - the current process allows for slightly darker finishes. The darker tone not only more closely matches anodized SOPMOD kit components (like the RIS II), but also allows for a more consistent, matte texture.

The DSG M16 magazine is offered on Contract GS-07F-6007R as a commercial-off-the-shelf replacement for NSN 1005-00-921-5004 and is a cost effective substitution for NSN 1005-01-520-5992 where high reliability is a requirement.
